Each year during the Annual ARNOVA Conference, 12 awards and 5 scholarships are presented to individuals for their outstanding achievements. Throughout the years, these awards and scholarships have positioned ARNOVA as an association that recognizes scholars, leaders, and practitioners' accomplishments, promoting and supporting nonprofit and voluntary action research. 

We welcome your submissions! Please keep in mind some general guidelines:

  • Each award/scholarship has different submission requirements; however, you may use the same log in (email and password) to complete all type of submissions
  • Individuals may be nominated/apply for multiple awards/scholarships, however they may only accept one
  • Previous participants of the scholarship programs*1 are ineligible to apply to the same program
  • Awardees will be responsible for booking their own accommodations during the conference*2
  • ARNOVA will not be responsible for transportation cost, parking, or other travel related fees of awards/scholarships awardees
  • Awardees will be expected to participate in the ARNOVA conference
  • Awards recipients may be asked to serve on the respective award sub-committee in the following year

*1 Graduate Diversity Program, Undergraduate Diversity Program, Doctoral Fellowship Program and Emerging Scholars Fund

*2 ARNOVA will book the hotel of selected participants of the Undergraduate Diversity Program
